While she lived in West Springfield, she was a member of the Friends of the West Springfield Public Library; active elsewhere when she could be, particularly in her late husband's tenure at Providence Hospital & Sisters of Providence charities for Brightside and other organizations. Born in Newton, Massachusetts; she grew up in Lexington Massachusetts; Lexington HS Class of 1942; graduated Beale Business College; and married her husband Owen F. Connolly also of Lexington, Massachusetts at St. Bridgid's Church in 1947. The daughter of Charles Alexander McCormack (veteran USAEF YD WW I) & Anne Louise (nee Keefe); she was a grand-daughter of Daniel F.
